I would like to introduce you to our company by giving you a brief history. On Tap Heating was formed in 1984 by myself, Joseph Reid, a local to the area. The company expanded in 2002 when we became a Limited Company. My son, Steven, joined the firm as a Director and quaified Heating Engineer at this time.

We currently have a fleet of ten vans, with nine CORGI registered Engineers, two fully qualified Part P Electrician, four plumbers and four apprentices. We aim to take on a local apprentice each year, and promote the Modern Apprenticeship scheme by working with local colleges who provide the qualification. We strongly believe in contributing to the local community and we annually support local schools and sports teams.

As a local company who have been established for over twenty years, we have seen many heating companies come and go and pride ourselves on being able to provide a competent, friendly and reliable service to both existing and new customers alike. We have numerous local references available upon request for your inspection to support our high record of customer service. As we have a full compliment of staff, we are able to respond to queries quickly and efficiently, being contactable twenty-four hours a day either by phone, or at our office unit located on Aycliffe Industrial Park.

The unit is open from 9.00am until 4.00pm Monday to Friday, where you will be able to ask for advice, request a visit or book a service with our friendly staff. When the office is closed the telephone calls are diverted to a mobile phone ensuring all calls are answered 365 days a year.

We also cater for Local Authorities, Housing Associations and Private Landlords. We are also registered with Constuctionline and NEPO.
