Heating Grants Available

You could claim a Warm Front Grant of up to £2,700 from the Government to make your home warmer, healthier and more energy efficient. The grant provides energy-efficient advice, from energy-efficient light bulbs and a package of insulation and heating improvements, such as new and replacement central heating boilers which are tailored to each property up the value of £2,700.

You may qualify for a Warm Front Grant if you own your home or rent from a private landlord and: You are 60 and over and receive at least one of the following benefits:
Council Tax Benefit
Pension Credit
Housing Benefit
Income-based Job Seekers Allowance
 
OR you receive a disability or income related benefit and at least of the following benefits:
Pension Credit
Disability Living Allowance
Housing Benefit (disability premium)
Working Tax Credit (with an income of less than £15,460 and a disability element)
War Disablement Pension (with a mobility supplement or Constant Attendance Allowance)
Child Tax Credit (with an income of less than £15,460)
Industrial Injuries Disablement Benefit (which must include Constant Attendance Allowance)
Income Support (with a disability premium)
Council Tax Benefit (with a disability premium)
